The Apostolic Church, 69 Oron Road, Uyo
The Church is made up of different wings which are known as Movements (or Fellowships). The essence of such Movements is to reach out to Church members depending on their age and gender, hence, the following Movements.
The Women Movement is a conference of women, who come together to fellowship - praise God, hear the word and pray for the Church, the Nation, and for humanity. It is a place where the spiritual and physical welfare of the girl-child(of all ages ) are being taken care of; it is a blend of Young Female Adults, Single ladies, and Married Women.
The Women Movement of Uyo Assembly is a place where the married women are taught on how to make godly homes, single ladies are taught how to be independent and godly, and the young female adults are given the proper instruction as per godly living and how to overcome peer-pressure, in a society full of vices.
It is a place to belong as a lady.
The Women Movement meet every Monday Morning by 5.00am
The Men's Movement is a conglomerate of men ranging from the Young Adult to the aged men. It is a confluence of men comprising of Young Male Adults, Single Male Youths, Married Men and the aged men.
Here, men are taught to be responsible - take care of their wives, children, themselves, and the home at large. The Young Male Aduts are taught to be respectful, career driven and God fearing. The Male Youths are taught to be resourceful, responsible and on how to maintain godly relationships for the sake of growth in career and business.
It is a family that cares for its members.
They meet every Saturday Morning by 6.00am
The Youth Movement is a place of spiritual development via the Word and in prayers, character development and skills development.
Being a Movement with young couples and many singles(male and female), proper lectures are handed down to help them succeed in career, business, marriage and choosing a faithful and God-fearing partner, handling marital crises, and grooming the family in the way of the Lord. Members of this group are also groomed to face the future with respect to their career of choice, educationally, career-wise pursuit.
The Sunday School Movement is for all ages, however, this movement is particularly interested in the children, as other Movements have their specialties(as per age grades). Here, the Children are taught the way of the Lord through songs, the Word, and how to pray. Moral instructions are also passed on to them, to build them into godly men and women of the future.
The Sunday School Movement of Uyo Assembly has produced many icons and as well won many awards including the National Bible Competition, organised by The Bible Society of Nigeria in the Year 2017(please check), .......
They meet every Sunday Morning by 8.00am
This Movement is responsible in rugged evangelism and curch planting. It comprises of Apostles, Evangelists, Prophets, Prayer Warriors and others blessed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the building, edification and growth of the Church.
They meet every Wednesday by 5.00PM where they explore scriptures and pray.
